As part of the promos we shot at Siren Studios Hollywood in the lead-up to the Premiere of Lifetime's "Under The Gunn", Anya Ayoung-Chee, Mondo Guerra and myself--the "Under The Gunn" mentors shot the "print ads". Below is the final result...

The Look: For the shoot, I wore my favorite Versace printed tuxedo jacket and one of my FAB silk printed Etro pocket scarves/hankies (Oh, and yes, I also had tux pants from Marc Jacobs Collection and a tux dress shirt from Ermenegildo Zegna--all bought by the way!)--Lifetime "Under The Gunn" Promo Shoot, Siren Studios Hollywood

The Look: Biker Chic, Country Western Gay Rodeo Biker Boys







Colors: Black, chocolate brown, indigo blue, gold, creme, prints



Trends: Leather Moto Jackets, pants; silk printed shirts; leather chaps; biker boots; LOTS of studded details; fur for men ( a chinchilla HOODIE!); acid-washed denim; late 80's/90's Versace Pin-Up Boy; bandana-inspired briefs, muscle tees

Lady Gaga in Versace Spring 2014: Lady Gaga never fails to make an entrance, and she didn't disappoint tonight at the AMA's arriving on a white "War Horse" style horse:




She did, however, disappoint me a bit in the Lavender Silk Chiffon Versace Gown that she wore. I would have loved to have seen something a bit more dramatic to go along with the entrance instead of an off-the-runway style. I'm sure Donatella would have made her anything she wanted. After all she did just write a song about her!!



I would have loved to have seen a over the top Versace chain mail gown or take the Guinevere theme even further.

The Look: Versace showed their latest collection for Spring/Summer 2014 from Creative Director Donatella Versace.  It was Rock & Roll Sexy Girlfriend. But then again, hasn't that ALWAYS been the Versace look?

Colors:  White, Black, LILAC, Silver

Trends: Rock & Roll, Sexy, A-line skirts, BIG Belt Buckles, Exposed Midriff/Tummy. Gowns with Slits, Gathered, See-Thru

Versace Punk Girls!







The Look: Punk...as seen by Donatella Versace. As we know the Met Museum's Costume Institute is getting ready for their upcoming Punk Chaos to Couture Spring 2013 Gala and Exhibition so yes, kids: it's ALL about PUNK. And Donatella knows this. For Fall 2013, she sent her Glamazon girls dipped in LOTS of vinyl black, chains, diamante straps, nails and bolts chokers, shocking-to-the-eye highlighter yellow furs, bright red coats and Sexy Siouxsies. Can't wait to see those girlfriend's of Russian millionaires wearing all this in their Winter trips to Sardinia.

The Look: 80's Versace Boys, Madonna Backup Dancer Vibe, full-length "Pimp" fur coats, oversized plaid suits...not sure of WHO in their right mind would wear this, or WHAT Donatella had in mind for this and as a strategy for her Menswear business but...if I can't even see a Russian arms dealer wearing this at a secret party in Azerbaijan or a Berlusconi bunga-bunga Party...I don't really know where any man would wear these ensembles. But it did look like a fabulously visual show. I'm sure when it hits the Versace boutiques, the clothes will be slightly toned down...slightly. I still hope those lace and stretch mesh onesies will be there--just for fun!
